Bewitching Bartok

Catherine Himmerich & Joe Dolson presented a concert performance of all 44 of Bartok’s Duos for Two Violins.
These duos exhibit an enormous range of exciting melodies derived from Eastern European folk music and Bartok’s imaginative use of harmony and rhythm. While these pieces owe a lot to their folk origins, they contain many interesting surprises for both audience and performers!
